Volume Exact Mascara

Volume Exact Mascara
Cover Girl
$7.00

I got this as a free sample although it is full sized on the back of a hair dye bottle, luckily for me. I had run out that day so it was no better reason than to give this a shot.

I had gotten "very black" the smell kind of sucks but hey that is why its for your eyes. The lash result I was a bit skeptic because everyone promises these incredibly lashes. But this really brought the table down on everything else. That I have used in the past. I have full long lashes naturally so I am not sure how it would work on shorter thin lashes. But its definitely worth the try. I'll post pictures in a moment.

Lip Glossin N' Hair Tossin

Alright so I had to run to Sephora today to grab some gift ideas for one of my best friend's birthdays. Since I am not really the one to get a gift card as a present I wanted to try and find something that she would enjoy. To make a long story short I ended up getting her the Call Girl liquid liner by Kat Von D

While I was there I cashed in alot of my points for beauty insider. I only had 300 points so if you have the 500 points its all kinds of good shit including nars, urban decay, makeup forever. and HUGE samples.

for the 100 points they had Bare Essentials Buxom Lips in Sandy
Ojon moisture detangler spray. and some stupid hand cream that
they have been trying to pawn off for months now.

I got the lip gloss and Ojon

These are probably some of the best samples I have ever recieved. The sizes are enourmous, especially the lipstick, its far beyond "sample" size.

I myself am not a big lipgloss girl myself but its a really pretty shimmer pink thats light but very in the moment. The closest color I can compare it to is Ivory by Chanel. The applicator is doe foot. Its by no means sticky which is another plus for me because its hard to find nice lipglosses without that disgusting sticky feel. I fore one have ALOT of hair and hair being stuck to your lips is not attractive at all. The one thing I didn't like about it is the cool tingling feeling that you get when you put it on, and it doesn't go away until you take it off. Thats the only thing that brings it down from me loving it 100%. Other than that though there is nothing else that I didn't love about it. Especially since it came in a O.O7 FL Oz size.

Being that I have thick curly semi-coarse dry hair I was super excitied to try this product because I'm always looking for things to tame my hair in a faster amount of time. When I got out of the shower I towel dried my hair and than put this thru it by itself, than let it air dry, it made a world of a difference if keeps my hair from getting frizzy. I'll probably edit this with an additional foot note about how well it works with other hair products. This product is even good for girls with straight normal hair, although I really wouldnt suggest this for girls with oily hair because it just makes things worse. So if you dry to normal curly or straight hair I would without a doubt suggest to everyone and anyone with those hair types. There is nothing bad I can say about it. Big big big points for Ojon and sephora for the o.85 FL Oz spray bottle.

Matte Finish

Matte Finish
Blu-ray
$16.50
Sephora.com

I've always been afraid to use a matte foundation because of how greasy they can possibly make your skin, this is one that I have to say really impressed me, its very similar to urban decay's matte foundation, except its a lot lighter on both your face and your wallet. Coming in at half the price that you would expect.

Its got great coverage and only a little is needed so in the end it stretches your money out even more because it will pretty much last you forever. Some of the things that I didn't really care for about it were that if you did use too much it became little greasy but with setting powder it took the edge off of it and smoothed it out, also the tint in the creme is not the best because if you don't do it quickly and than set it properly it will leave you with an orangie glow that to be honest is not the most attractive thing in the world.

So if your willing to save alittle money and spend alittle time on your face and not rush through the work I would suggest this to a least try because for many people it would be for sure worth your while!

Dare To Wear

Louder Please (Matte)
$14.50
Dare To Wear Collection
MAC

I haven't picked up from the collections in a long time, and I know I do a lot of reviews on the MAC products but its all I really wear anymore, after this I promise to do more reviews on other things. But this was one product I had to talk about!

Louder Please is a bright fuchsia matte shadow, that really lives up to its name, the color no matter the color skin you may have it just screams on your eyes, whether you wear it by itself or wearing it with any other color of your choice. The color is clean and goes on with an airbrushed finish especially when matched with a matte white eyeshadow. Also incredibly versatile. Fitting perfectly into any palette or collection that you maybe creating.
